Sandra GASMI

Sandra Gasmi founder of the organic beauty care brand Demain Beauty

Who are you?

Sandra GASMI, founder of the skincare and dietary supplements brand Demain Beauty.

Why and how did you create "Demain Beauty"?

I created DEMAIN BEAUTY when I discovered (thanks to the press) that most of the cosmetic products I was putting on my skin and my children's skin contained carcinogenic ingredients and endocrine disruptors. Seeing that the big companies were not doing anything to change the situation, I decided to take action and show that it was possible to offer 100% healthy products without sacrificing effectiveness and sensoriality.

What is your recipe for finding balance between career, well-being as a woman, and family life?

It's VERY difficult!

I try to maintain a very good lifestyle to preserve my energy and once a year, I go on a week-long fast to rejuvenate from the inside out 😊 Both literally and figuratively.

What values and messages would you like to pass on to your children through your work?

I encourage my daughters to have a dream, which will give them a guiding thread in life. With the motto "Everything is possible!". The values of hard work and discipline are very present in what I pass on to them daily.

What is the most valuable piece of advice you have received as a mom that you would like to share with other women?

LET GO!

Trust yourself and trust your children. Find the right balance between freedom and control.

Now, let's talk about your mom. Does she have a particular impact on your approach to the cosmetics field, the focus on organic products in your brand, and your relationship with "Demain"?

Yes, in the sense that not being interested in cosmetics, she created the space for me to desire these products 😊.

But also because she is a great cook and the daughter of farmers, she passed on to me the respect for nature and healthy food.

Here, we talk about hair. Tell us about your relationship with your hair and your child's hair?

I've never known how to style my hair! I have only recently started using professional products and a hairdryer! However, my daughters, who have curly hair, are very skilled!

We can't wait to hear your "hairstories": what is your #hairtop? #hairflop? Can you share a #hairtips?

As someone who loves Do it yourself for waxing, nail care, masks, scrubs, and skincare, I never do hair coloring at home. In fact, I was traumatized by a hair color gone wrong at age 25, which left me with raven black hair for 2 years.
I brush my hair morning and night and make sure to use healthy products for my hair and scalp. My concern is that my hair is soft, voluminous, and shiny.

Finally, would you like to tell us about your future projects as the founder of "Demain"?
I'm looking forward to the release of my future dietary supplement!
