In the "Magic Cactus" family, I ask for... the Intense Mask Care! It's the key element, the one you can't do without. Because yes, at the risk of repeating ourselves: nourishing hair is the key to success! And of course, we wanted to develop the perfect treatment: one that nourishes the hair in depth but without weighing it down, that is at the same time a mask, a detangling treatment, and even a "pre-shampoo"... all in a generous format, and with the most natural ingredients possible!
Is it a detangler or a mask?
Both of them! And even the three... because it is also a "pre-shampoo" mask! We thought of this treatment as a multi-use treatment, a "chameleon" treatment that adapts to your hair's needs. Whether you leave it on for 1 minute or 10 minutes, it will deeply nourish your hair:
- when you don't have the time, it can be used as a detangling treatment without any application time;
- on very dry days, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes;
- and in case of acute hair dryness, use it as a "pre-shampoo": apply it on dry hair about half an hour before shampooing, for a deep care!

The oil of prickly pear seeds
Two ancestral "super oils"! Prickly pear seed oil, our "magic oil", is very rich in vitamin E and regenerates and moisturizes the hair. Avocado oil is very rich in moisturizing agents, proteins and vitamins. It activates the production of new cells, and therefore promotes growth, and protects against external aggressions (pollution, heat of the hair dryer, UV ...). Like prickly pear oil, avocado oil has also been used for centuries to care for hair (at the time of the Pharaohs, the Egyptians already knew its virtues and used it frequently!)
A silicone-free mask, okay... but what do you use instead?
Silicones, we already told you about them, they are banned from our formulas. Even if they seem to make hair soft and shiny, in the long run they dull and dry hair. To replace them, and because curly hair really needs what we call "conditioning agents" to give it shine and suppleness, we used a combination of different ingredients: in particular, a mixture between vegetable oils and "quats" (or Polyquaterniums).
Used in very low doses, these last ones have a beneficial effect on the formulas: thus, the quats allow the vegetable oils (in this case, prickly pear and avocado) to be much better absorbed by the hair... and thus to be more powerful! Their properties - suppleness, shine, regeneration and protection - are thus increased tenfold.

For very dry hair, this method increases the nourishing and repairing effects of the mask tenfold. Indeed, thanks to the heat diffused by the towel, the scales of the hair will open and thus absorb much more easily the active ingredients of the mask.
How does it work? First, apply your mask as usual. Then wet a clean towel with hot water and wring it out well. Then heat it in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes (check the temperature: the towel should be hot, but not burning). Wrap the towel around your hair soaked in the mask, leave it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse. You'll see, your dry hair will be deeply nourished and will get a second wind!
